Overview
Led 2 teams under Project YCURE of the Philippines Red Cross Headquarters:
Data Management Team: Assisted the Molecular Lab in managing and distributing COVID-19 test results, while serving as a chat support help desk for general concerns and emergencies.
Finance Team: Assisted the Treasury Office in managing multiple Gmail accounts, payment posting, receipt issuance, and addressing inquiries.
Accomplishments
Sent out hundreds of COVID-19 test results and assisted individuals in need of assistance during COVID-19 peak period, especially those trapped in quarantine areas and are not provided adequate essentials
Cleared backlogs of more than 5 Gmail accounts, and addressed over 12,500+ unread emails for the Treasury Office
Led a remote team during typhoon season, where we assisted families reaching out to rescue teams through social media channels
Responsibilities
Directed and optimized task delegation across finance and data management teams, ensuring operational efficiency and seamless support for COVID-19 operations.
Managed multiple communication channels, including email and chat, to address client concerns, process payments and receipts, and provide timely updates on swab test scheduling and results.
Provided key performance insights through daily attendance reports, feedback analysis, and client satisfaction data, contributing to process improvements and enhanced client experiences.
Acted as the primary point of contact for remote volunteers, resolving operational issues and fostering collaboration among team members.
Assisted in maintaining accurate financial and operational records, including payment posting, encoding, and issuing official receipts.

The Youth for COVID United Response (YCURE) Project is a Philippine Red Cross (PRC) initiative supported by the Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC), designed to mobilize, educate, and empower youth volunteers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its long-term health impacts. The project focuses on strengthening the capacity of the Red Cross Youth (RCY) to act as agents of health, safety, and community resilience.
